The lack of biodiversity that exists within Irish towns and cities, due to monoculture grassy “green” areas which exist in the middle of housing developments throughout the country, which are damaging to both pollinators and communities alike.
Utilising TidyTowns (an existing environmental agency in Ireland) to create a new initiative which helps bring biodiversity to Irish housing estates and the general urban area, while also helping to increase community spirit by creating green communal areas.
