The mangroves are more than just natural features, they are essential for the wellbeing of both the local environment and communities(Kothi Wada and Mumbai residents) The challenges and impacts of mangrove degradation and related conservation and development projects impact all of Mumbai’s mangroves. Mumbai’s youth are in a unique position to make a significant impact on the preservation and restoration of mangroves. Mumbai’s mangrove cover while gradually decreasing, there is an information gap among Mumbai’s youth regarding the challenges faced by the city’s mangroves. They are the key to influencing change, advocating for sustainable practices and participating in restoration projects. Hence, what better means to inform the youth then through a timeline.
